me and crypto...

My crypto journey kicked off back in 2014 when I first heard about the whole Mt.Gox mess—yeah, that scandal where people sank millions into Bitcoin and then, boom, it all vanished. Honestly, I didn’t give it much thought at first. But a year later, when I dipped my toes into network and affiliate marketing, crypto came back into the picture because it was one of the payment methods my company used. Still, I didn’t get what the big deal was with Bitcoin back then.
I was doing alright in those first few months, earning decent cash, building a community, and picking up some leadership skills along the way. My main thing was always about helping people make money in ways they never thought possible. You know, if they win, I win too. But I didn’t know jack about Bitcoin at the time, so I ended up cashing out all my coins through crypto debit cards like a total newbie.
Nope, I wasn’t some early Bitcoin adopter or HODLER. I wish. I spent all that BTC like it was nothing. But you know what? All the ups and downs, the wild adventures, and the people I met along the way—those experiences? That’s something you can’t buy. After I blew through my Bitcoin, I spent a solid year diving into financial education. I learned the rules of the money game, how it all came to be, and why the world’s so messed up—all thanks to our dirty cash.
I had heard a little bit about Bitcoin before, but it wasn’t until that year that I really got what this new currency was all about. Back then, you couldn't just Google “blockchain” and get the good stuff. Everything online was mostly negative. So, I had to go deeper. And the more I learned, the more hooked I got. At first, it was just a hobby. See, I used to play soccer until I got into a motobikeaccident in 2011. That accident actually led me to become a goalkeeper coach for about four years, which was a cool gig.
The deeper I went into crypto, the more it hit me how much I blew through my Bitcoin during my time with that company. I started investing with a tiny budget, like $1,500 tops, buying coins like DOGE when it was at $0.00001 and DASH at $1.50. Within a short time, I turned that $1,500 into $20k, and let me tell you, that kinda change flips your whole life upside down—in the best way.
So, I just kept learning, grinding, trying new things, winning some, losing some. It was all part of building the life I wanted, a life where I could actually live off crypto. Coming from Austria, where I grew up in a small village surrounded by woods, trying to explain what I was doing to people was like speaking another language. Nobody got how I was making my money or how I could afford the life I was living.
That’s when I started traveling, mostly around Europe, 'cause I still wanted to hang out with my dog, Lennoxx. I was living life on my own terms, staying in different places for months at a time, just doing my thing. The more I talked about Bitcoin, and the more it started blowing up in the news, on TV, and pretty much everywhere, the more people wanted to know what was up.
With all the stuff I’d gone through, the lessons learned, and the rollercoaster of emotions, I became who I am today. On my travels, I saw a lot of messed-up things. Not always the world’s biggest problems, but definitely stuff that was a big deal to the people facing them. And all these little issues add up to make the world what it is today. I figured, even if my impact is small, I can still make a difference. I believe in my community and know that people will have my back when I start sharing my crypto know-how and kick off some charity projects.
So, get ready for what’s coming. I’m hyped because I’ve never done anything like this on social media before. But I’ve got a feeling it’s gonna be awesome. Let’s goooo.
